Estate agents say this Devon property will spark a lot of interest as there is planning consent to build two flats – however there is currently no plumbing or drainage
A run-down double garage with peeling paintwork has gone on sale for nearly £100,000.
The scruffy building has an asking price of £95,000 as estate agents say they expect a lot of interest from prospective buyers.
It was listed with “no bathrooms” and “no bedrooms” but the new owners will have planning consent to build two flats, CoventryLive reports.
The garage, in Devon, does not have plumbing or drainage but it does have electricity.
The property also includes a parking space and garden of about 42-square metres
The garage is next to a beauty salon.
Estate agents Seddons said: “This is an exciting opportunity to build two flats near the Cullompton Community College, in Exeter Road.
“Each of the proposed flats have three bedrooms, an open plan kitchen/dining/living room and a bathroom, and outside, parking and garden.
“The garage has electricity connected.”
It comes as a tiny cottage in Wales has gone on sale for just £35,000.
It is so small the bed folds up and the toilet is in the garden shed.
The cosy property is nestled between rolling hills which make for stunning views.
However, it comes with a number of compromises that most homeowners would be used to.
Instead of a full kitchen, there’s a larder that has a sink, counters and fridge, but without a water connection or a cooker, Wales Online reports.
There’s also no shower or bath and no room for indoor toilet facilities, as anyone who needs to go will have to pop to the outhouse in the shed.
The home is going to informal tender, which means that potential buyers submit a competitive and private bid by a set date.
